WASTE CONTAINER LOCK PRODUCTION 

The Faeti company, based in Sarsina in the province of Forlì-Cesena, offers the most innovative solutions in the field of waste container locks production. In particular, the company catalogue includes:

• Keys (for gravitational and manual locks)

Just 3 months from the start of the new waste collection system in San Mauro and Gatteo a Mare, more than 66% of separate waste collection is with using lock bins "The key that makes all the difference".

Results have been excellent in the new (and experimental) waste collection in Gatteo Mare and San Mauro Mare.

During the three months of summer when surveys were carried out, the home waste collection system with lock containers recorded a 66% rate of sorted waste collection, equal to 792 tons out of the approximately 1,200 total.

The new collection system called "The key that makes all the difference" started in mid-May in the Gatteo and San Mauro districts through an awareness-raising campaign.

The key allows access to the 5 bins and it is not possible to use the same key on bins located in residential areas other than the one assigned.

Three factors contributed to achieving this result: the determination of the Administrations, the extraordinary collaboration of all citizens and businesses, and the control system from Hera.

Some of the credit also goes to the Faeti company, which thanks to its activity of producing locks for waste containers in Sarsina, laid the foundations for precise and organised runnings of the project.
